Communicators

The Mayo Clinic has special nurses that serve as "communicators" between the surgical teams and family members. They come in every couple of hours with updates.

Our communicator's name is Suzanne.  Like all Mayo nurses, she is very nice and totally professional.

Here is what she just told us:

Ma went into the operating room at 1:31 pm.  It then takes about an hour to set up before the actual surgery begins.
